The CK30 will come to market in three different models, which have very
similar options and share common accessories. The Price Guide has a
separate page for each model.
CK30A : The batch model is configured for the cost-sensitive, performing unconnected or loosely connected applications. With the least amount of memory, a mono display and scaled down version of Windows CE, the CK30A has the same features as the CK30B, but without the radio. Optional Ethernet connectivity will require a dock.
CK30B : This model is for the cost-sensitive, no-nonsense, thin client world of mostly TE users. It is ideal for those who are happy with today’s TE products, like the 2415, and who need neither upscale features like a color screen nor additional memory. With the smaller memory, mono display and scaled down version of Windows CE, this model could easily be called "Antares Plus": It does virtually everything that a 2400 handheld does except it has Windows CE and some other up-scaled features.
CK30C: For users needing higher-end features or who want to have a more flexibility in programming, the CK30C is the best choice. The combination of the color display, larger memory, and 400MHz processor means that they will have room to grow and have more application flexibility than with the CK30B model.
