PK80F Alternative Vehicle Installation Method

(NOTE: this assumes a new install or a current installation with 6820 cabling in the vehicle. 
Users with 4820 or older vehicle charging cables will need to upgrade to 6820 power cabling.)

A special "Y" cable and a remote data communications cable are required when using this alternative method.  Both cables connect the vehicle dock with 700 Series Computer. The "Y" cable limits the separation of the dock and printer to eight feet (2.4 meters).  However, using separate power cables for the dock and printer do allow you to locate the printer and the vehicle dock up to 30 feet (9.1 meters) apart.
